Service accompagnement solution pricing

What are the best practices for adopting your new pricing solution within Pricing, Purchasing and Sales teams?

In order to ensure the adoption of your new SaaS software pricing with the various impacted teams, it is important to put in place some best practices.

1. Train your teams

Adoption requires understanding. It is therefore essential to ensure the successful integration of your pricing software to offer training modules to teams likely to use the tool.

Before training in the use of the pricing tool, it is necessary to take into consideration the level of pricing expertise. Without good knowledge and understanding of pricing mechanisms, training in the use of the tool may not be understood and integrated by your teams. In fact, it may therefore be wise to train your teams.

2. Create cross-team collaboration

Several teams are generally required to work on a pricing tool. Before the project, the IT and BI teams are called upon to implement the solution. Then, when using the tool, many stakeholders are involved in the project: your Data Science, Pricing teams but also your Sales, Purchasing teams or even your Category Managers and your management controllers. There are therefore many people involved in the project. So stop operating in silos! Encourage your teams to exchange and share their knowledge and uses of the tool.

3. Adopt transparent communication

Often, obstacles to adoption can emerge due to a lack of understanding of the usefulness of implementing such a rater. We recommend that you communicate regularly with the teams to answer their questions and clear up their doubts. Remember to communicate widely on the objectives of the Pricing solution and its results!

4. Share the results

Monitoring results is essential, but it is even more important to share monitoring of the performance of your new pricing strategy with your teams. This allows you to unite but also to collect feedback that can help improve performance.
